Shipping & Tax FAQ
Free Shipping
Free Shipping is available for orders shipped to the lower 48 continental states *
Free shipping orders will be sent via a shipping method & carrier of our choosing. Orders with free shipping are lower priority than orders paying shipping charges so there is a slight chance that a free shipped order may not leave the same day as it was sent to our warehouse for processing.
If you are in a hurry for your stuff, we highly recommend you choose a faster shipping option.
* A small selection of large or very heavy items may be excluded from the free shipping option.
Looking for a shipping quote?
Shipping quotes can be generated by using our shipping calculators located on every product page, the shopping cart summary page and during checkout.
How long does it take to get my parts?
This really depends on whether the item is in stock and what shipping method you choose. We can usually ship most items within a business day of your order. Please see the freight calculator on the website for transit times.
Do you ship Internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide on a daily basis. Check our shipping calculator for rates. There are a few countries that we will not ship to and a some that are restricted by law.
Why won't you ship my (large) item by postal/mail?
There are many countries with postal package weight and dimensional restrictions. Our website shipping calculator is aware of these restrictions and won't offer options not allowed by your country. APO and FPO addresses do cause problems because we have no way of knowing what the final destination country is so we occasionally get these packages returned to us by the post office.
Can you ship my stuff cheaper or use a "slow-boat" or some other surface method?
We do not have small parcel "slow-boat" shipping options available for International destinations. These methods are no longer being offered by our postal system. Air shipping is pretty much the only International option for small parcels.
Are international import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, etc. included in your shipping quotes and charges?
Taxes and duties are not included in shipping charges and may or may not be collected by the carrier upon delivery.
We have no control over the duties, taxes or other fees collected by your destination country's government.
Can you mark the items at a lesser declared value or as a gift/sample for customs so I can avoid paying taxes and duties?
Nope. We haven't been in business for as long as we have by disobeying the law. In order to continue exporting products and avoiding fines, we will not knowingly break the law.
Your tax experience may vary by the shipping method you choose. For example, we have heard from some Canadian customers that their postal (mail) carriers don't always collect taxes. UPS and FedEx will always collect taxes.
